In an exclusive interview with Adegbenro Titilope, Miss Ojuloge Beauty Pageant 2017. She unveils her influence behind her modeling career and how she has grown gracefully. Having studied chemistry in higher institution, she also revealed her challenges and achievement.
What inspired your modeling career considering the fact that you studied something totally different?
The very first time I decided I could be a model was when I was in 200L in school. Though, I have always wished to be a model right from my childhood but I was not opportune, until a friend introduced me for a beauty pageant contest and I enjoyed every bit of the activities. I mean initially, I felt inferior seeing my competitors because of their height and most of them had been into it for so long but I was able to summon courage. Since then, I’ve come to understand that being a model involves you being yourself.
Tell us about your education: Have you attended fashion modeling courses? What related courses or studies have you taken?
I’m a graduate of Olabisi Onabanjo University and I studied chemistry: I haven't attended any fashion
What are your goals as a Model?
My goals as a model is to get better in modeling, get more contracts and continue working under Jumade
What has been your greatest accomplishment so far?
My greatest accomplishment so far was when I won a car as a Queen (Miss Ilese) in 2015
Are you up for new challenges?
Yes. My job doesn’t have to be an obstacle to the life I want and I will turn those challenging boulder into
stepping stone for growth and success.
How do you handle stressful situations?
I tried to take a break and rest for some minutes
What is your greatest weakness? What are you doing to improve it?
My greatest weakness is stage fright and at that moment the only thing I always do is to breathe in and
What is your greatest strength?
My greatest strength are God and my inspiration.
Tell us about your greatest work related accomplishment
My greatest work related accomplishments was being Miss Ilese, Miss Ojuloge and signing makeup
contracts with Mob Cosmetics and Glambyadu.
Do you have any limitations? Would you model any kind of clothing at all?
The sky is my limit. Yes I will.
Who is your role model in this Industry?
My role model is Matilda Kerry.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
In 5years time, I would be my own boss, own a modeling school and a brand.
